Nottingham aka Shottingham has previously been labelled a gun crime capital. Two estates in particular (St. Anns and Meadows, NG2) are the home of crime, drugs, despair and violence.
To tackle the onslaught Police launched their own version of the Mets Operation Trident entitled Operation stealth in 2002 which resulted in a steady drop in shooting incidents.
